PA/Junior Litigation Secretary

SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Litigation Secretary to join their dynamic legal team in Westville, Durban.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of working experience as a litigation secretary or legal administrator at a law firm (experience in general civil litigation is essential)
• Foundational understanding of general civil litigation processes
• Assist with basic legal drafting under supervision
• Filing & Document Management
• Diary Management - Manage the attorney’s diary, schedule appointments, set deadlines, and ensure that court dates and filing timelines are strictly adhered to
• Personal assistant duties with client-facing responsibilities
• General secretarial and administrative duties,
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities 
• Proficiency in LegalSuite and a good command of Microsoft Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
