SUMMARY:
Qualified Millwright with at least 3 yearsâ€™ experience gained in the FMCG industry to maintain packaging and palletizing equipment

POSITION INFO:

Duties:

Maintaining assigned packing plant equipment in accordance with operational maintenance strategy to meet operational availability targets.
Repairing plant breakdowns to reduce production stoppage time.
Complying to Company policies and procedures and executing work in accordance to SHE regulations and standards.
Participating in the maintenance team’s initiatives to set and meet continuous improvement targets.
Performing Instrumentation standby (under remote supervision by qualified Instrumentation Technicians) after assessment.
Performing electrical standby when required.

Qualifications and experience:

Trade tested Millwright with a focus on Electrical and Pneumatic skills.
Code 08 driver’s license.
At least 3 years’ post trade experience in a related industry with a focus on packaging and palletising systems.
Experience of packaging systems is a key requirement for this role.
Experience with ABB and Siemens (or equivalent) systems required, especially those related to packing.
Experience in performing maintenance of Packaging systems.
Palletizers and Stretch-hood wrapping machines will be a distinct advantage.
Knowledge of SAP maintenance system will be an advantage.
Knowledge of Instrumentation, PLC systems, and related troubleshooting for Control systems will be an advantage.
Knowledge and ability to perform MV (up to 11KV) switching an advantage
