PA / Assistant to 2IC

Our Cape Town based client has been a leader in the manufacturing industry for nearly 50 years and is looking for an energetic all-rounder to act as PA / Assistant to their 2IC.  You need to have experience with salaries, wages, etc. using Pastel, knowledge of imports /exports and basic understanding of bookkeeping (accounts). A strong personality able to cope in a busy, open plan manufacturing environment is also needed.

Requirements:

·        Experience with Pastel

·        Experienced with salaries, wages and Government refunds

·        Working knowledge of imports / exports

·        Bookkeeping skills (advantage)

·        Manage COID paperwork

·        Team player

·        Able to cope with busy, noisy open plan environment

·        Experience in a manufacturing / production / FMCG environment

·        Able to work unsupervised

·        Live in Southern Suburbs of Cape Town

·        Mature, energetic and not a clock watcher

Working Hours:

·        Monday to Thursday: 09.00 -16.00

·        Friday: 09.00 - 14.30

Salary:

·        R15,000 - R18,000

Responsibilities:

·        Assist with wages, payroll and Government returns

·        Deal with imports / exports

·        Assist 2IC with all of her duties

·        Admin, filling, e-mails, etc.

·        Ad-hoc duties as may be required
