SUMMARY:
Order Clerk / Buyer required for our Manufacturing Client based in Industria West with a minimum 3 plus years' experience in a similar role dealing with local and foreign suppliers with excellent Excel and Forward software experience.

POSITION INFO:

General:

3 to 5 years work experience in relative position
Interpersonal skills
Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
Knowledge of some Accounting package / Forward

Responsibilities and duties:

Placing orders on Forward with foreign/local suppliers for stock items
Forwarding request for payment and following up with payment for foreign suppliers
Placing orders on Forward with local suppliers for non-stock items
Amending purchase orders
Communicating with suppliers with regards to order placements, pricing and amendments
Following up with delivery dates (local/foreign suppliers)
Calculating quantities that should be ordered and by which date, using spreadsheets
Liaising with factory manager and production manager with regards to production
Other ad hoc duties which will be explained during training
