Sydsen Recruit is seeking a highly skilled Optical Technician | Dispensing Optician to join a dynamic Optometrist Practice in Gqeberha | Port Elizabeth. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Optic professional to step into a pivotal role within a fast-paced and client service orientated environment.

POSITION INFO:
We are looking for: (Minimum Requirements)

• Experience in optical dispensing and lens fitting (5+ years preferred)
• Knowledge of lens types, materials, and optical machinery
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A qualification in optical dispensing or related training is advantageous

• Accurately interpret and fulfil optical prescriptions
• Manufacture, fit, and adjust prescription glasses and lenses
• Repair and maintain frames and lenses
• Assist patients in frame selection, measurements, and fittings
• Maintain stock levels of lenses, frames, and materials
• Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated
