Operator - Soldering and Assembly

SUMMARY:
A Well established company in the East Rand is seeking and Soldering and Assembly Operator to join their team.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements: 

• Matric
• Experience in Manufacturing industry is advantageous 
• Planning and organizing ability 

• Select components as per drawings, job cards and BOM, accompanied by stores staff
• Assemble components using soldering, hand tools, or resin according to drawings, job cards and BOM.
• Report discrepancies and scrapped components to the supervisor
• Properly dispose of waste and material off-cuts
• Operate machines: tube & MI cable cutters, strippers, sanders, polishers and extension cable strippers
• Check electrolyte and booster levels before using the hydrogen welder
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Accurately complete and submit production documents on time
• Report delays, issues, malfunctions or breakages to the supervisor.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by Management within company scope
• Follow all health, safety, and company policies
• Inspect machines before use for safe operation, including emergency switches
• Keep machines and workstations clean
• Report any leaks or spills immediately
• Always wear assigned PPE
