SUMMARY:
Operations stores and Warehousing Manager – North JHB

One of our biggest clients in the Financial Service Sector seeks to employ an operation and warehousing Manager, a great company with an exceptional reputation.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and warehousing duties.

Duties Include:

Forecasting
Projects & costing
Stock counts & Audit
SAP part naming description
Management of stock level
Forecasting required levels
Weekly meeting
Analysis of stock
Analysis of DM allocation report
Audits
Stock Counts
Version Control
Projects
Allocations to service providers
Manage the warehouse and stores in compliance with the company’s polices
Oversee the receiving, warehousing and distribution of devices and spares
Produce reports and statistics regularly
Cost management
Stock usage and deliveries
Ensure new order and bags are placed from suppliers in time
Monthly usage comparison
Stock to 3rd party Repair centres
Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security
Escalation related to parts/logistics
Repair centre/logistics
Monthly usage versus dispatch report
Monthly BDA bags dispatched report for billing

The ideal candidate has the following

Matric
Diploma / Degree in Logistics and technical
5 years’ experience in stores and logistics industry
2 years’ management experience
Advanced computer skills
SAP proficiency
Fork-lift license
