SUMMARY:

Our client in Pretoria is looking for an Operations Support Agent to provide first-line technical and operational support to clients. They are looking for someone who is technically minded, client-focused, accountable, solution-oriented, organised, a quick learner and able to work independently while knowing when to escalate issues.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Provide first-line remote technical support to clients.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity and user-related issues.
Log, manage and resolve support tickets using Bitrix.
Manage tickets within agreed SLAs and ensure accurate documentation.
Attend client sites when required for installations, troubleshooting, repairs and device replacements.
Assist with client onboarding, implementations and system commissioning.
Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements.
Work closely with Operations, Client Services, R&D and Finance teams.
Take ownership of client queries from start to resolution.

Ideal Candidate

Previous experience in ICT, ISP, technical helpdesk, call-centre support or a similar technical client-support environment.
Strong technical troubleshooting and computer skills.
Excellent English communication and client-service skills.
Comfortable providing remote and telephonic support.
Basic networking/connectivity knowledge advantageous.
Experience with ticketing/CRM systems advantageous.
Field installation experience advantageous.
Valid driver's licence and car and willingness to travel to client sites.
Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise multiple issues.
