SUMMARY:
We are looking for an Operations Supervisor with a solid understanding of the shipping industry, supply operations and is familiar with local port regulations and procedures to join our Marine products division

POSITION INFO:

We are looking for an Operations Supervisor with a solid understanding of the shipping industry, supply operations and is familiar with local port regulations and procedures to join our Marine products division

Key Responsibilities

Ensuring operational team alignment with local and global processes and requirements
Understanding of shipping and supply operations within the local Ports
Knowledge and experience on bond stores and customs regulations
Communication with Service providers and shipping agents ensuring prompt service delivery to customers
Managing of site service providers, agreements and supplier evaluations
Stock take procedure and processing, including bonded store facilities
Achieving set targets and KPI''s within the scope of the portfolio

Mandatory Requirements

Minimum 3 years relevant experience
Prior experience in maritime supply operations & warehousing
Very good command of the English language (spoken and written)
Good computer skills with Excel knowledge
Ability to communicate effectively within a multinational environment
Ability to work under pressure and ability to work on own initiative
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Systematic and accurate nature
