SUMMARY:
Our client based in Pinetown (Durban) is hiring an Operations Manager / Assistant to General Manger. The ideal candidate would be required to support the busy production company needs with its varied tasks. The candidate should be comfortable multitasking and working cross-functionally with production and sales. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with being hands on while supporting Managing Director with international enquires and overseeing company in her absence. Please note 40% of the position will be handling of international sales enquiries, with quotations and including transportation of goods, liaising with international clients.

POSITION INFO:
Education and Minimum Requirements
Grade 12.
Tertiary qualification is an advantage

Competencies

5+ years of experience in a similar role
Proficiency with Microsoft Office & Intermediate excel
Strong organizational and communication skills
Strong ability to multitask
Experience with complex costing for international enquires
Comfort working with multiple groups within business
Ability to use own initiative and think out of the box

Responsibilities

Maintain business standards for accuracy, productivity and reliability
Manage the daily functions of the business
Prepare annual performance reviews
ISO Officer for quality and control
Ensure regulatory, compliance and legal standards
Senior coordinator overseeing local and international sales
