SUMMARY:
Take responsibility for the reconciliation of both cash and scrip positions for all of company InvestmentsÃ¢Â€Â™ underlying asset manager portfolios. Performing reconciliation between the organization's appointed administrators, custodians and asset managers to ensure the timeous resolution of reconciliation differences.

POSITION INFO:

JOB DESCRIPTION

Provide functional expertise and be accountable for the efficiency and quality of service delivery for the investments operations reconciliation function.
Manage and mitigate operational risk and ensure that the aged recon items are escalated timeously and resolved effectively.
Validate the accuracy of operational risks and other risk assessments and take accountability for the timely and effective closure of audit points.
Deliver on KPI and KRI reporting, business dashboards and other metrics as required timeously and efficiently.
Management Reporting and Presentation of Recon statistics at Management forums.
Management and support of Staff and ensure staff KPIs are actioned as per as per company Performance review policies

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Requirements

Education and Experience

B-Degree with further financial markets studies (Studying towards CFA preferred)

Business understanding

Sound understanding of financial markets and investment portfolios
