SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity has become available for an operations administrator to join a leading organisation within the industrial solutions sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the full sales cycle – from accurate order processing to logistics coordination, financial administration, and customer service. This is a dynamic role suited to a detail-oriented professional with strong organisational and communication skills.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Process and manage customer sales orders accurately and within deadlines.
Track and communicate order status with internal teams and clients.
Update and maintain delivery schedules on CRM systems.
Handle customer queries with professionalism and urgency.
Support customer onboarding and ensure all compliance documentation is complete (EUC/Export Control).
Coordinate closely with finance for invoicing, reconciliations, credit notes, and payment terms.
Work with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure stock availability, backorder management, and timely deliveries.
Manage exports and cross-border trade, with knowledge of Incoterms.
Prepare invoicing projections, forecasting records, and management reports.
Build and maintain strong, professional customer relationships.

Required Skills:

Experience: 2–5 years in sales support, order processing, or admin coordination. Exposure to exports, cross-border trade, and industrial/technical equipment environment.
Qualifications: National Diploma in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering preferred, or equivalent strong work experience.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), ERP/CRM systems such as Sage X3, SAP, or SYSPRO. Familiarity with export compliance processes.
Core Competencies: Highly organised, analytical, detail-focused, strong communication skills, problem-solver, proactive, able to multitask under pressure.
Industry Fit: Ideally from an industrial, engineering, or manufacturing background, with the ability to collaborate across sales, finance, logistics, and warehouse teams.
