Our client is a market-leading organisation operating within a fast-paced, high-volume environment where operational excellence, precision, and accountability are non-negotiable. With a national footprint and a reputation built on trust, reliability, and service delivery, the business plays a critical role in keeping some of South Africa's largest industries moving.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with operational teams to drive financial and operational performance.
Analyse operational costs and identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
Conduct site visits and travel to various operational locations as required.
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and operational financial reports.
Investigate financial variances and provide actionable recommendations.
Monitor and improve financial controls across operations.
Support month-end and year-end processes.
Assist with business planning and strategic decision-making.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:

BCom Accounting Degree qualification.
Completed SAICA or SAIPA Articles is non-negotiable.

Experience:

2-3 years' post-articles experience.
Experience in an operational finance or commercial finance environment will be advantageous.
Proven ability to work closely with operational stakeholders.
Experience analysing business performance and driving process improvements.
