Where You'll Make an Impact:
Oversee and streamline daily store and forecourt operations to ensure efficiency and excellence.
Identify, analyse, and address shortages and shrinkage through effective stock and wet stock management.
Monitor site performance and generate precise operational and management reports using Excel.
Lead recruitment, coaching, training, and mentorship initiatives to uphold service standards and operational consistency.
Deliver a superior customer experience across all service points, including the forecourt, convenience store, and café outlets.
Manage high-volume cash handling and ensure accurate financial reconciliation processes.
Oversee fuel reconciliation and back-office fuel systems, including PDI and Dover Fueling Solutions.
Guarantee full compliance with Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental standards, maintaining a zero-tolerance policy for unsafe practices.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise operational workflows and adherence to policies and regulations.
Duties:
Lead and manage daily store and forecourt operations.
Minimise shortages and shrinkage through stock control and wet stock management.
Prepare and analyze operational reports.
Recruit, train, coach, and mentor staff.
Ensure exceptional customer service delivery.
Oversee financial controls, cash management, and fuel systems.
Maintain HSSE compliance and safety standards.
Implement operational improvements.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years' management experience in retail or similar environments.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and R for reporting and analysis.
Excellent customer service orientation.
Experience with financial management and stock control.
Knowledge of fuel systems and back-office operations is advantageous.
Ability to uphold safety standards and drive compliance.
Familiarity with the following:
C programming language (beneficial but not essential)
Management and operational reporting
Industry compliance standards
