SUMMARY:
The Online & Digital Marketing Manager will work within the Marketing team and be responsible for designing and implementing a solid digital marketing strategy which encompasses system and digital efficiencies for backend, claims, sales, admin, etc.

Operational  

  • Manage and oversee the various digital marketing channels, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and mailers.
  • Designs, builds, and maintains our social media presence.
  • Measures and reports performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assesses against goals (KPIs).
  • Identifies trends and insights and optimizes spend and performance based on the insights.
  • Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing.
  • Plans, executes, and measures experiments and conversion tests.
  • Collaborates with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.
  • Utilizes strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Identifies critical conversion points and drop off points and optimizes user funnels.
  • Collaborates with agencies and other vendor partners.
  • Evaluates emerging technologies.
  • Provides thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.

 

  • Manage the digital marketing budget.
  • Edit and approve all content.
  • Identify ways to improve quality of online content and digital marketing platform performance.
  • Lead, supervise and motivate members of the digital marketing team.
  • Research competitors and provide suggestions for improvement
  • Keep a close eye on industry, market trends, best practices and overall knowledge of digital marketing.
  • Liaise with Marketing Managers to coordinate ad campaigns that align with digital marketing strategy.
  • Identifies process improvements and procedural challenges, recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Work with the digital marketing team to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies.
  • Develop ecommerce campaigns to increase digital sales.
  • Create promotion plan for ecommerce platforms.
  • Be responsible for determining the format and features of the website in order to maximize clarity and ease of navigation for customers. Liaise with Web designers to develop and alter websites as needed.
  • Keep abreast of new developments in the e-marketing world. Research the brands core demographics and how to best reach them, in order to maximize search engine traffic and the effect of the company’s targeted ad buys.
  • Plan for e-marketing expenditures well in advance and develop a financial plan that will maximize resources.
  • Liaise directly with senior management and present plans for any new advances or initiatives to improve the company’s online presence and e-sales.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA in Marketing, Digital technologies or similar relevant field
  • 5 years’ experience as a Digital Marketing Manager, with 2-3 years E-Commerce experience
  • A driver’s licence is essential
  • Proven leadership that can be referenced on all levels of your reporting structures
