Office Administrator : Office of the CEO, Makhanda

SUMMARY:

We are seeking an Office Administrator : Office of the CEO, for a permanent role based in Makhanda, Eastern Cape

POSITION INFO:
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
 

• Diploma or higher qualification in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field.
• At least three (3) years of relevant experience in an Executive Assistant or high-level administrative role, dealing with confidential and strategic matters.
• Proven efficiency and effectiveness in providing administrative support to governance and board-related processes, while working in collaboration with the Board Secretariat
• MS Office literacy at an intermediate to advanced level
• Excellent secretarial, minute-taking, and business writing skills.
• Good understanding of corporate governance, PFMA, and records management principles
• Able to perform well under pressure
• Strong English communication skills

• Manage diary, schedule meetings and coordinate appointments
• Prepare/circulate agendas, minutes, correspondence and briefing packs
• Coordinate official travel, accommodation and logistical arrangements
• Handle the CEO’s correspondence and communication
• Maintain filing and record management system
• Provide general admin support – document control, supply requisitions and expenditure tracking
• Assist in preparation and consolidation of reports, presentations and submissions
• Work closely with Board Secretariat to coordinate board meetings, compile documents and follow up on resolutions
• Ensure professional liaison and communication
• Support governance compliance
