Job Description:

My client, a leading provider of solar water heating solutions in South Africa, specializing in cutting-edge solar technologies, is looking for an Office Administrator that is a highly organized, logical thinker with strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will work closely with the management team and thrive in a structured, detail-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

Handle the day-to-day administration of the office.
Assist clients with quotes and directing them to the appropriate sales or technical staff.
Record keeping (Client, supplier and stock).
Ensure smooth logistics between suppliers, customers and management.
Invoicing clients, processing payments, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded.
Stock management - Tracking Inventory Levels, Ordering and Reordering, Warehousing, Forecasting Demand)
Customer service and Communication
Work closely with Management

Requirements:

Fluent in Afrikaans & English
Strong Administrative skills
Attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Focused and responsible
Self-motivated and results-oriented
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Diploma or degree would be advantageous
Stock Management Experience - (Inventory Control, Stock Taking, Supplier Co-ordination, Stock Forecasting, Warehouse Management, Cost Control)
Minimum 5 years experience in an administrator and stock inventory role with contactable references
Matric with Mathematics no less than 50% for real Math, at least 70% for Math lit
Must have own reliable car

Personal Attributes:

Strong logical thinking skills are required, as this role involves working closely with the company’s director, who is also their engineer and designer.
Ability to thrive in a detail-oriented and structured environment.
