About the Role
Our client, a well-established leader in the security services industry, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager (Security) to join their team in Rosslyn, Pretoria. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who is passionate about operational excellence, client service, and leading high-performing teams across multiple security contracts. The successful candidate will oversee service delivery, ensure SLA compliance, manage operational resources, and maintain the highest standards of safety and security while building strong client relationships. A valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle are essential for this role.

POSITION INFO:
What you’ll be doing

• Lead and supervise all daily security operations with a focus on client satisfaction
• Build and manage strong relationships with clients and service providers
• Oversee new site launches, transitions, and contract handovers
• Monitor SLAs, cost management, and quality of security service delivery
• Ensure prompt resolution of client issues and proactive engagement
• Manage operational budgets, staffing, and resource planning
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to maintain H&S and security compliance
• Lead staff through performance reviews, coaching, and team development
• Collaborate with senior management on reporting and operational planning
• Identify opportunities to grow services and improve client relationships

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in security operations management
• PSIRA GrA - Valid 
• Grade 12 (Matric) with a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Security Management or a related discipline.
• Valid PSIRA Gr. A registration certificate
• Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
• No criminal record
• Strong leadership, planning, and client-facing skills
• Knowledge of security legislation, H&S compliance, and industry best practices
• Proven ability to manage budgets, rosters, and operational KPIs
• Solutions-driven, proactive, and professional approach
• Relevant management qualification advantageous
