OPERATIONS COORDINATOR – PACKSHED, SALES AND HOSPITALITY

SUMMARY:
Citrusdal area, Western Cape Province – South Africa: The Operations Coordinator – Packshed, Sales & Hospitality is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the packshed, assisting with flower sales, customer communication, freight and export logistics, while coordinating the hospitality operations.
 
This position plays a key role in ensuring efficient operational planning, excellent customer service, effective communication and smooth day-to-day business activities across both the agricultural and hospitality divisions.

POSITION INFO:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 

• Diploma or Degree in Agriculture, Logistics, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or a related field will be advantageous.
• Valid driver's licence.
• 2–5 years' experience in agriculture, logistics, hospitality, customer service or operations.
• Previous supervisory or team coordination experience will be advantageous.
• Experience in export logistics or freight coordination will be advantageous.
• Experience managing guest accommodation or hospitality operations will be advantageous.

• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook and Word).
• Experience with FreshPortal, Floriday or similar flower export systems will be advantageous; however, full in-house training will be provided.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
