OPERATIONS ANALYST (TRANSPORT & LOGISTICS INDUSTRY)

RedCat Recruitment is urgently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced OPERATIONS ANALYST (TRANSPORT & LOGISTICS INDUSTRY) for a well-established, growing concern, position based in the Pietermaritzburg area, KwaZulu-Natal.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Grade 12.

Relevant qualification/s.

Valid driver’s license / own reliable transport.

Competent computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Advanced MS Excel skills.

Working experience on Power BI.

3yrs+ working experience as an analyst in a professional setting (process engineering, management accounts).

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Good interpersonal skills to work with different management levels.

Knowledge of lean six sigma method an added advantage.

Previous working experience in the transport / logistics industry a strong advantage.

Understanding and knowledge of remuneration and benefits process an added advantage.

Managing data, client reporting, systems and processes.

Ensure the company work flows smoothly from the driver training side through to the review customer policies and business process.

Analyze data and information to identify business opportunities.

Work closely with executive management to achieve outcomes based on company and customer productivity goals.

Recommend and update policies and procedures to improve performance.

Enhance workflow and cross-departmental engagements.

Collaborate with internal teams to improve cost-effectiveness across all platforms.

Create monthly reports to management and customers on key findings and assessments.

Keep updated on industry and market trends.

Process development and innovation, process optimisation, technical people development, managing functional and technical line teams to deliver business productivity and results.

Proven analytical and problem-solving skills and a clear ability to apply the principles of change management for people and projects with strong commercial acumen.
