SUMMARY:
A well-established organisation, based in Sandton, is looking to appoint a newly qualified CA(SA) who is eager to transition into the commercial space.

POSITION INFO:
This opportunity is ideal for a candidate with no post-articles commercial experience, but who is keen to gain broad exposure and build a strong foundation across finance and business operations.

This role offers hands-on exposure to core commercial finance functions, working closely with senior finance leaders and cross-functional teams. You’ll gain practical experience across reporting, analysis, and decision support, with the flexibility to grow your career in an industry that aligns with your interests.

Key Responsibilities:

Support month-end and year-end financial reporting processes
Assist with management accounts and financial analysis
Analyse budgets, forecasts, and variances
Support cash flow reporting and working capital management
Assist with financial modelling and ad hoc commercial analysis
Partner with stakeholders to provide financial insights and decision support
Support audit processes and ensure compliance with internal controls

Requirements:

Newly qualified CA(SA)
No post-articles commercial experience required
Strong technical accounting foundation
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced Excel skills
Curious, proactive, and eager to learn
