SUMMARY:
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development

• Proactively source and develop new connectivity sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and lead generation
• Sell fibre, wireless connectivity (LTE/5G), VoIP, cloud and managed connectivity solutions
• Conduct client needs analysis and propose suitable connectivity solutions
• Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and proposals
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service level agreements in line with company policy
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
• Upsell and cross-sell additional connectivity and ICT solutions
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention

• Liaise with technical and provisioning teams to ensure accurate solution design
• Assist clients with product selection, implementation timelines, and onboarding
• Ensure smooth handover of closed deals to implementation teams

• Maintain accurate client and sales records on CRM systems
• Track pipeline activity and provide regular sales reports
• Keep up to date with connectivity products, pricing, and market trends

• Stay informed on competitor offerings and pricing structures
• Identify new market opportunities and industry developments

POSITION INFO:
Required Skills and Competencies

• Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Good understanding of connectivity solutions (fibre, wireless, VoIP, cloud)
• Ability to explain technical solutions in a simple, customer-friendly manner
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented
• Strong time management and organizational skills

• Matric (Grade 12) – essential
• Relevant sales or ICT qualification – advantageous
• Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in B2B sales (connectivity / telecoms / ICT preferred)
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle (often required)

• Basic salary + commission structure
• Car allowance and/or fuel reimbursement (where applicable)
• Cell phone and laptop provided
