Our client, an ISP and VoIP service provider, is seeking a Network Technician to join their team in the Hendrina area!
Location: Pullenshope (Hendrina area), Mpumalanga
Salary: R13,000
Commission: Available after 3-month probation
Essential Requirements:
Matric certificate
Code 8 - 10 driver''s license
Own transport to and from work
1-2 Years of experience in the internet service provider field
On-site installation experience
WiFi experience essential
Knowledge of MicroTik/Ubiquity/VoIP/Cameras
Essential Skills:
Good communication skills
Network experience and eager to learn
Understanding and troubleshooting wireless internet systems
Ability to work alone or in a team without supervision
Key Responsibilities:
Installation & Configuration:
Set up, install, and configure network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, access points)
Configure network software to ensure proper connectivity
Perform on-site installations for clients
Network Support & Maintenance:
Monitor network performance to ensure uptime
Implement security measures, including firewalls
Provide technical support to clients
Troubleshoot wireless internet systems
Resolve connectivity issues
Client Support:
Provide support to clients
Handle technical queries
Ensure client satisfaction
