Qualifications / Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years PLUS Management and Sales experience within the petroleum industry (not negotiable)
• Able to manage a sales team across the country
• Must have experience in large companies in the fuel industry
• Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiating skills
• Available to travel extensively
• Valid drivers license essential – must be prepared to travel
• Strong administration skills 
• Willing to work under pressure and achieve and drive targets
• Self-motivated team player, able to inspire colleagues
• Target driven

Key Performance Areas:

• Facilitate achievement of agreed targets in the region by driving sales performance
• Will be 2nd in charge for the Sales & Marketing team
• Will oversee +-300 sales employees
• Driving Business Development by growing the client base
• Driving the sales team through strategizing and implementing targets
• Responsible for marketing ideas
• Handle changes in strategic direction, structures, and operating models in order to ensure transparent communication and effective operation within the region
• Identify and manage creation of new business opportunities to expand the market
• Ensure that all operations are in line with the company’s policies
• Prepare monthly and quarterly annual forecasts
• Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs
• Accountability for GP margins and targets
• To maintain and grow current business from a regional perspective, identify and respond to new business opportunities pro-actively as to ensure growth, and set a high standard for excellent custom
