SUMMARY:
Opportunity for an experienced National Operations Manager to oversee multi-site operations, financial performance, compliance and service delivery within a facilities or cleaning management environment.

POSITION INFO:

An opportunity is available for an experienced National Operations Manager to oversee operational functions across multiple sites. The role is responsible for driving operational efficiency, financial performance, compliance, service delivery and team performance across the organisation.

Responsibilities

Manage Regional and Site Managers and oversee operational performance across sites.
Ensure compliance with operational policies, procedures, controls and procurement requirements.
Oversee contractors and service providers across cleaning, security, waste and maintenance services.
Conduct operational audits and inspections across sites.
Prepare and oversee budgets, monthly financial reports and forecasts, and enforce internal financial controls.
Monitor profitability across sales, rentals, parts and service divisions and manage outstanding debt in line with company policy.
Lead field sales activities across regions and sites, support customer service excellence and maintain OEM relationships.
Lead personnel and HR-related functions, develop high-performing teams, and ensure workplace safety, compliance and productivity.
Ensure compliance with applicable labour legislation, fire protection, security, health and safety, and quality standards, including client SLAs.
Manage cleaning equipment and company assets to the required standards and provide accurate reporting to senior management.

Requirements

Matric / Grade 12.
Facilities Management qualification or relevant certificates.
Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in Facilities or Cleaning Management.
Strong financial acumen and operational management capability.
Knowledge of relevant compliance requirements.
Experience in strategic leadership and team development.
Understanding of health and safety risks, PPE requirements, applicable legislation, regulations and quality standards.
