NATIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (INSURANCE INDUSTRY)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

RedCat Recruitment is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced NATIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (INSURANCE INDUSTRY) for a large national concern, position based in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Grade 12.

English / Afrikaans speaking person (person must be able to read / write / speak in both English and Afrikaans).

Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Advanced MS Excel skills. Working experience on Teams.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or relevant field is essential.

Short-term insurance qualification a strong advantage.

RE5 is essential.

5-10 years business management and business experience.

Strong staff management skills.

Working knowledge and understanding of statutory and legislative requirements short-term Insurance Act/FAIS/Fit and Proper etc (advantageous).

Previous sales and business development experience.

Person will be required to manage and oversee Broker Consultants throughout South Africa.

Must be prepared to travel nationally.
