POSITION INFO:
An exciting opportunity exists for a Municipal Administrator within a leading property management and development environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring effective municipal account administration, risk management, and optimization of utility services across a diverse property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities

Manage landlord, service provider, and tenant relationships to optimize utility management.

Source and verify municipal accounts from supply authorities.

Handle tenant and council queries, including the opening of new accounts.

Conduct regular reporting, tariff verification, and risk management.

Support utility accounting functions, ensuring accurate cost and recovery allocations per billing cycle.

Assess energy efficiency and recommend optimal utility tariffs.

Ensure compliance with relevant Acts, bylaws, and internal processes.
Requirements
-
Experience in the property industry and municipal accounts administration (essential).

Strong background in creditors, account reconciliations, and payments.

Proficiency in Excel (intermediate level).

Valid driver’s licence.

Knowledge of Pastel/SAGE ERP 300 (advantageous).

Experience in dealing with council queries (advantageous).
