Mould Setter – Trainee

POSITION INFO:

A leading manufacturing company within the FMCG sector is seeking a Moulding Setter to join their company. This role is ideal for a technically strong individual with mould setting experience who is looking to grow within a fast-paced production environment.

Duties include:

• Perform and manage all mould changes across production lines

• Set machines in line with best practice and production requirements

• Conduct mould and material trials as required

• Identify and report machine and mould maintenance needs

• Support maintenance teams to ensure optimal machine performance

• Ensure moulds and machinery are properly maintained, serviced, and stored

• Maintain high product quality standards at all times

• Adhere to housekeeping and safety standards within the plant

• Assist with additional duties as required by the Production Team Leader

Minimum Requirements:

• N2 – N3 in Mechanical or Electrical (essential)

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Setter within FMCG or manufacturing

• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude

• Exposure to a tool room / toolmaking environment (essential)

• Experience working in a high-speed production environment

• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure

• Willingness to work overtime when required
