POSITION INFO:

MOTORCYCLE TECHNICIAN

REPORTS TO: DEALER PRINCIPLE / SERVICE

MANAGER

LOCATION:

Lynwood Pretoria

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Ensure all electrical and mechanical repairs to vehicles are done. Responsible for final quality control of repair work.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Accredited product Technician.
Prior experience being a motorcycle & scooter mechanic.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare operating equipment and bring necessary parts to the workshop bay according to correct internal procedures.
Conduct the repair and / or maintenance according to manufacturer’s specifications.

Job Knowledge and Skills:
Co-operate with and support other Motor product divisions as required from time to time (power products, golf cars, marine and technical support services).
Monitor service and maintain Race team bikes, including attendance at race meetings.
Retrofit accessories and mounted parts as required.
Document any work carried out, recording working hours and report to the GM.
