Motor Vehicle Technician - Gauteng - Northern Suburbs

POSITION INFO:

A well-established Motor Dealership in Gauteng, is looking for a Motor Vehicle Technician to join their service department.

Requirements:

• MUST be a qualified Vehicle Technician (preferably with a Premium Brand Dealership)
• Minimum of 2 years experience in the Automotive Industry
• Good Communication
• Strong information technology background
• Highly IT Competent
• Must have own transport & own quality tools
  
• Mechanical and Electrical skills

Responsibilities:

• Servicing and repairing of all vehicles booked into the dealership
• Diagnose and report findings accurately
• Maintain and update on diagnostic tools
• Request relevant and correct parts from parts sales executive
• Notify management of any service related issues
• Contacting clients and scheduling bookings of vehicles
• Checking in of customers and follow ups with clients
• Update job cards, ensuring that it contains accurate information and detailed information on the service/repairs
• Plan and order parts required in advance as per vehicle identification
• Ability to plan production
• Maintaining good communication at head office and with customers
• After Service Follow ups
• Understanding of costing of job cards
