SUMMARY:
Job Purpose:
Ikwezi Mining invites applications for a 2-year Mine Surveying internship at our Newcastle operations. 
The successful candidate will assist in conducting accurate surveys for mine planning, development, and 
operational control.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: 

• Assist in daily underground and surface surveying activities.
• Support the preparation of mine plans, layouts, and maps.
• Participate in spatial data collection and analysis.
• Ensure compliance with survey standards and safety procedures.

• Degree/Diploma in Mine Surveying
• Good understanding of survey principles, equipment, and software
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company
