SUMMARY:
An FMCG Food Manufacturer is currently seeking a qualified Millwright who is able to work independently as well as in a team. Must be able to work shifts and have own transport

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties and responsibilities:

Scheduled & preventative maintenance
Condition monitoring & equipment performance evaluation
Setting up of machinery
Sound mechanical, electrical & electronic diagnostics & trouble shooting
Repairs & reconditioning of equipment
Critical spares identification & purchasing
Continuous improvement
Applying new technology
Ensuring equipment availability & optimal recovery of breakdowns

Qualifications and experience:

Millwright, N3 - N6 with matric
Min. 5 years working experience in production FMCG environment
Experience working on production and fast-moving packaging machines
In-depth knowledge of hydraulics, belt systems, motors, and other industrial machine mechanisms essential for job procedures
Knowledge in formers, fryers, spiral & general refrigeration and packing machines an advantage

Must be able to work shifts and have own transport
