A Selection Tilewright (or similar) opportunity has become available at my esteemed client in Hammanskraal.

My client is a giant in the manufacturing industry and part of a listed group.  This is a huge organisation with excellent career opportunities for the perfect candidate.

Minimum qualifications & experience:

1. Be in possession of a Red Seal Millwright (Artisan) qualification.
2. The perfect candidate must be very strong in electrical and automation.
3. Must have a minimum of five (5) years post-qualification experience
4. Must have experience in leading a team

Key responsibilities/Core functions:  

• To ensure that the quality of the product that the client supplies to its customers meets the desired standard and specifications. This includes, but is not limited to, the quality and the consistency of the product produced.
• Involvement and leadership in problem solving and continuous improvement of both the product being produced and the operation of the equipment in the department. 
• Developing relevant process controls and ensuring that they are carried out.
• Maintenance of all equipment.
• Training of Process Controllers/trainee Process Artisans.
• Implementing and maintaining a preventative maintenance program within the department.
• Purchasing and financial controls on all departmental maintenance expenses to ensure that the department meets its budgetary requirements and commitments.
• Purchasing and financial controls on all consumable materials are necessary to ensure product quality. 
• Ensuring safety, housekeeping, and health standards are adhered to.
