Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance activities to maximize plant reliability.
• Diagnose breakdowns efficiently and implement effective corrective actions.
• Install, commission, and maintain industrial machinery and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Assist with shutdown planning and execution.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and plant efficiency.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reporting.

Minimum Requirements

• Qualified Millwright Trade Test.
• 5-8 years of post-trade experience in an industrial, manufacturing, mining, or engineering environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience.
• Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Sound knowledge of industrial machinery, equipment, and associated systems.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations and best practices.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Middelburg area.
