Position Overview:
Our client is seeking qualified South African Millwrights to join their team in the Netherlands. This position presents an exciting opportunity to permanently live and work in a modern industrial environment, contributing your mechanical expertise to enhance operational efficiencies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Install and align new machinery according to technical specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings and manuals for mechanical assembly.
- Collaborate with other trades to ensure successful project completion.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records for equipment.
- Adhere to safety regulations to promote a safe work environment.
- Train and mentor junior millwrights and apprentices as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma.
- Red Seal Qualification as a Millwright is mandatory.
- Proficient in the use of mechanical tools and machinery.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- NO criminal record.
- Willingness to permanently live in the Netherlands.
- Candidates must speak Afrikaans.
- Candidates must be between 24 & 28 years old.
- Valid passport mandatory.
Experience Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a Mining Processing, Packhouse and/or Industrial warehouse setting as a Millwright.
- Experience with industrial machinery relevant to the position.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial settings mandatory.
- Familiarity with safety standards and compliance regulations.
