Goede Hoop Citrus (Pty) Ltd. situated in Citrusdal, currently has a vacancy for a skilled Millwright with a passion for precision and maintenance excellence. The successful incumbent will report to the Pack House Manager and take responsibility for the maintenance of all equipment, appliances, tools, the premises, and buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Install and commission new machinery and production lines
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and comply with safety standards
Minimum Requirements:
- Recognized Millwright Trade Test Certificate (Red Seal)
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a similar environment (preferably FMCG or agricultural processing)
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic PLCs
- Ability to work shifts and perform standby duties when required
- Driver’s licence and own transport
- Good communication skills (English & Afrikaans)
- Good problem-solving skills
