Middle Office Analyst (Investment Operations)

SUMMARY:
The Middle Office Analyst plays a critical operational role, sitting at the hub between Investments, Payments, Compliance, and Engineering teams. You’ll be responsible for the accurate, timely, and controlled execution of investment and fund operations—from deal setup to deployment, income distribution, liquidations, and investor transactions.
This is a hands-on execution role, not a reporting or analytics function. You’ll work across multiple overlapping fund cycles, ensuring precision, alignment, and a seamless investor experience.

POSITION INFO:

Deal Launch & Operational Readiness
Manage end-to-end operational setup for new investment deals
Ensure all deal pages, configurations, and documentation are ready for launch
Coordinate with Investments on deal mechanics and attributes
Oversee deal lifecycle transitions and close-out processes
Fund & Deal Cycle Execution
Execute deployments, distributions, liquidations, withdrawals, and reallocations
Manage exceptions, late payments, and reconciliation issues
Coordinate timelines across Payments, Compliance, and Investments
Ensure platform and internal systems mirror real-world cash movement
Investor Transaction Operations
Process allocations, income distributions, reinvestments, and withdrawals
Manage investor access to private deals and restricted opportunities
Prepare and deliver accurate transactional communications
Cross-Functional Coordination
Act as the central operational link across all key departments
Maintain operational calendars for overlapping cycles
Provide data and updates needed for investor relations and fundraising
Operational Control & Process Ownership
Maintain and enhance middle-office workflows
Identify risks and inefficiencies, collaborating with Engineering on automation
Uphold strong documentation, controls, and auditability standards

We’re looking for:
1–2 years’ experience in middle office, investment operations, fund administration, or financial operations
Strong execution and coordination skills
Deep understanding of fund/deal lifecycles, investor cash flows, and transaction processes
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
Excellent collaborator with the ability to manage multi-team dependencies
