Mid-Weight Creative Copywriter

A forward-thinking creative agency specialising in through-the-line marketing solutions have an exciting opportunity for a mid-weight creative copywriter. They are a one-stop shop for everything from CI Development and fully Integrated Campaign Strategies to Digital Marketing and Social Media.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Establish brand tones
• Creative brainstorming sessions and idea creation
• Develop copy and content
• Write copy across a variety of channels including BTL, print, digital, emailers and social media platforms
• Occasional writing of long form copy

Experience and Skills

• At least 4 years’ copywriting experience
• Advertising Industry experience
• Good conceptual ability
• An understanding of digital platforms and media
• Must be able to write long and short copy
• Possess a strong command of the English language and have excellent spelling and grammar
• Excellent presentation skills
• Stay focused in a high-pressure, quick turnaround environment
• Must be creative, but also have a sense of responsibility for business needs and deadlines

Personal Skills/Attributes

• Ability to handle pressure, sense of urgency and have a proactive approach
• Must be a team player and have the ability to multi-task

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree (Marketing, Communications, English, Media Studies)
