A well‑established retail organisation is seeking an experienced Merchandising Planner to join their team. The successful candidate will drive financial performance, optimise inventory, and support strategic merchandise planning.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Merchandising, or related field
• 5+ years’ experience in merchandise planning or inventory management
• Proven ability to meet financial targets and optimise stock levels
• Strong retail planning system knowledge and advanced Excel skills
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) advantageous

• Strategic thinker with commercial awareness
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong collaboration and cross‑functional teamwork skills

• Develop and manage sales, margin, inventory, and OTB plans
• Analyse performance, highlight risks/opportunities, and present insights
• Manage allocation, replenishment, and inventory optimisation
• Support buying with assortment and seasonal planning
• Produce accurate forecasts for sales, stock, and markdowns
• Maintain KPI dashboards and reporting (Syspro an advantage)
• Collaborate with Buying, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams
