Merchandiser

SUMMARY:
Durban. Fast-growing business within the beverages and liquor industry seeks accurate Merchandiser with relevant Retail Channel experience.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently arranging products and displays on shelf in Retail and Wholesale channels
• Ensuring proper category management and forward share opportunities are correctly arranged with all necessary elements
• Arranges products to prearranged plan or own initiatives approved by management
• Ensures visible and accurate pricing for serviced brands are always available
• Transferring of customers replenishment stock from their stock room to floor displays or allocated shelf space
• Constructs or assembles display aids from company provided POS materials
• Stock rotation and sell by date management
• Low stock level communication and reporting to sales team
• Candidates must demonstrate a high level of accuracy, and ability to work without direct supervision
• Effectively and timeously completes all site surveys on CRM system

Requirements:

• Matric
• Driver’s license and own vehicle essential
• Retail channel experience essential
• FMCG beverage experience preferred
• High level of accuracy, and ability to work without direct supervision
