Our client, and international Premium Sports Brand is seeking to employ a Merchandiser to join their team
Main requirements:
Grade 12
Valid driver''s license and own transport
Relevant merchandising experience
To manage the product lifecycle, balancing creative curation with analytical stock control. To analyze sales data and trends to forecast demand, negotiate costs with suppliers, manage production timelines, and optimize inventory levels to maximize profitability.
Planning & Analysis
Trend Forecasting: Researching market, fashion, and competitor trends to anticipate what customers will buy.
Assortment Planning: Working with buyers and designers to decide which styles, colors, and quantities to produce or purchase.
Data Analysis: Monitoring sales performance, sell-through rates, and margins to inform future product decisions.
Retail & Visual Merchandising
Inventory Management: Balancing stock levels across different stores or channels to avoid overstock or stockouts.
Visual Strategy: Planning how clothes are displayed, organized, and promoted in-store or online to drive conversions.
Promotional Planning: Coordinating with marketing teams to set price reductions, sales, and seasonal campaigns.
