Merchandise Administration Controller

SUMMARY:
A well-established client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Merchandise Administration Controller to join their team. The successful candidate must be available to start immediately. 
 
This role is suited to an administrative professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment who has advanced Excel and enjoys working with product data, pricing, promotions, and systems administration. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate product information, supporting promotional processes, and ensuring smooth coordination between suppliers, customers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
 
Master Data & Item Maintenance:

• Maintain accurate pricing, costings, and deal pricing.
• Manage product master data and item status updates.
• Capture and maintain information on Syspro.
• Communicate price changes to relevant customers.
• Ensure all updates are actioned timeously.

• Co-ordinate and process new product listings.
• Validate supplier and product information.
• Capture accurate product features and benefits (FABs).
• Create stock codes and customer price codes. 

• Maintain product samples and product imagery.
• Ensure all promotional information and FAB details are accurate.
• Capture line selections and promotional data.
• Communicate promotion schedules to customers. 

• Load new clients and create user logins.
• Maintain pricing and product information.
• Manage product configurator updates.
• Process price increases and manual price lists.
• Send discontinued and out-of-stock notifications. 

• Previous experience in merchandise administration, product administration, pricing, or a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong administrative and co-ordination skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Syspro experience, a strong advantage.
