As a Parts Advisor focused on Mercedes-Benz vehicles, you''ll be the key contact for internal technicians and trade customers, delivering expert guidance on parts availability, pricing, and ordering. This role supports the seamless operation of a busy dealership by ensuring that the correct parts are sourced, managed, and delivered with accuracy and speed. You''ll play a vital role in customer satisfaction and service efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- 2-5 years experience as a Parts Advisor within a Mercedes-Benz dealership or approved service centre
- Assist trade, retail, and internal workshop customers with selecting appropriate parts
- Provide quotations, availability checks, pricing, and technical advice
- Process parts orders, returns, invoices, and warranty claims accurately
- Liaise with suppliers for special or urgent orders
- Maintain and monitor parts stock levels and inventory records
- Meet and exceed sales and service KPIs, including customer satisfaction metrics
- Stay current on Mercedes-Benz parts catalogues, product updates, and DMS systems
About You
- 2-5 years'' relevant experience in a Mercedes-Benz dealership or OEM parts environment
- Proven knowledge of Mercedes-Benz OEM and aftermarket parts
- Proficiency in dealership management systems (e.g., CDK/Kerridge, AutoLine)
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- High attention to detail with solid organisational abilities
- Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, well-groomed, and confident communicator
- Team-oriented with a solutions-driven mindset
- Automotive certification advantageous; Mercedes-Benz product training is preferred
