An established Financial Services Provider (FSP) is seeking a professional, dynamic, and client-focused Medical Advisor to service its growing client base in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town and the Boland region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and support on medical schemes, gap cover, and other healthcare solutions to individuals, families, and businesses.

POSITION INFO:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric plus a relevant industry qualification
• RE5 qualification will be advantageous
• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English, with Afrikaans as a first language
• 3–5 years' experience in medical schemes, health insurance, gap cover, or financial advisory services
• Excellent communication, marketing, and customer service skills
• Strong administrative skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and build long-term client relationships
• Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle

• Provide professional advice to clients on suitable medical scheme and gap cover options
• Identify and analyze clients' needs and recommend appropriate healthcare solutions
• Assist clients with new applications, amendments, enquiries, and annual plan reviews
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients
• Develop and service a client base in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town and the Boland region
• Ensure that all advice, administration, and client service are delivered in compliance with applicable legislation, regulatory requirements, and internal processes
• Stay up to date with changes to medical schemes, benefits, gap cover, and related healthcare products
