Minimum requirements
- Matric
- Non-smoker
- Certificate or Diploma in Bookkeeping
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle

- Minimum of 3 years' working experience or more in a professional environment (medical environment)
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, Vertex software and GoodX
- MUST be able to work under pressure

Duties and responsibilities
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls, schedule patient appointments, and respond promptly and professionally to all inquiries
- Coordinate the assignment and scheduling of various medical procedures, ensuring each procedure performed by staff members is allocated to the appropriate individual and takes place at the correct time
- Ensure that all written reports are accurately completed and sent out in a timely manner to the relevant Drs (Doctors), maintaining clear records of all communications
- Arrange further treatment for patients by referring them to the correct healthcare professional, and maintain documentation to provide proof of every referral whenever needed
- Oversee the daily operations of the office, ensuring that all administrative processes run smoothly and that inventory levels are adequate and well-managed
- Supervise the admin staff (administrative staff), monitor their workflow, and ensure that all authorizations and patient accounts are properly and fully processed
- Organize and coordinate the use of practice vehicles, ensuring all transportation and related logistical tasks are carried out efficiently and according to requirements
Work hours
Monday - Friday: 07:30 - 16:30
2 nights a week (on-call; answering the practice phone)
2 weekends a month (answer the practice phone and perform administrative duties)
Remuneration
R 25 000 per month
