POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities

• Accommodating various files and providing general office duties, e.g. data entry, faxing, scanning, etc.
• Acting as a liaison with patients and providers in a compassionate and kind manner Making appointments, collecting co-pays, and providing receipt of money in accordance with established procedures
• Tending to client forms Addressing patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
• Providing support in the management of patient medical records
• Replying to inquiries in a detail-oriented and effective manner, while corresponding with phone calls within minimum rings
• Ensuring the waiting and reception areas are kept neat and clean; reporting on any damage
• Responsible for medical  verifications with health insurance organization

Requirements

• Experience with insurance billing and an electronic medical record system
• Experience in Claim management using Health Bridge or EME
• Skills in multi-line phone systems preferred
• Ability to handle multiple tasks to prioritize needs and expedite tasks upon request Incoming phone call management skills required
• Knowledgeable of medical terminology and insurance products and plans 2+ year of experience as a Medical Receptionist
• High School Diploma required
• Good communication skills
