Medical Receptionist

SUMMARY:
Medical Receptionist – Wierdapark, Centurion area

POSITION INFO:

Well established firm within the medical industry is looking for a friendly and experienced Medical receptionist to join their team on a permanent base.

Minimum requirements:

• Previous working experience within the same or similar position
• Experience dealing with various medical aids
• Must be a friendly, well presented and forward thinking person with good problem solving skills
• Must have own car and driver’s license
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Working hours:  7.45am – 17.00pm Monday – Thursday, 7.45am - 15.00pm Friday - Some Saturdays on request (Max 1x month +-3 hours)

Duties includes but is not limited to:

• Opening of offices at 7.45am latest
• Switchboard & telephonic enquiries of patients
• Booking of appointments
• Preparation of patient files, electronic and hard copy
• Capturing & updating of patient information on database
• Handling of orders & deliveries
• Stock control
• Deal with walk-in customers
• Basic repairs & troubleshooting of patients devices when not working (training to be provided)
• General appearance of front reception and consulting rooms
• Receiving & checking in of hearing aids for servicing
• Marketing of services
• Front desk sales of batteries & other consumables
• General nurturing & building relationships with patients
• Follow up of enquiries on website, walk-in’s etc.
• General administrative duties
• General front desk duties
