Are you a healthcare professional with a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy and diagnostic imaging? This could be your opportunity to gain valuable experience with a leading international healthcare organisation.
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to support medical coding, billing and data accuracy within a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and accurately code diagnostic imaging studies according to Medicare Diagnostic Imaging guidelines
- Process studies within billing and month-end deadlines
- Assist with billing queries and discrepancies
- Conduct data integrity and accuracy checks
- Work closely with Finance, IT and Operations
- Contribute to process improvements and accurate billing
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- 2+ years' experience in the medical or healthcare sector
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Intermediate Excel & Word
- Medical Coding qualification or relevant healthcare qualification advantageous
Advantageous Experience
Medical Coding | Radiology | Medical Billing | Clinical Administration | RIS
