Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Media and Marketing Coordinator to join our Durban-
based team, supporting the operational and administrative needs of the Sales and Marketing department at

Blue Safari Seychelles. This role is central to ensuring smooth communication and coordination between our
South Africa office, island operations, and marketing contacts. The ideal candidate will bring structure,
efficiency, and a solutions-oriented mindset to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities: ï‚· Assist in developing and implementing media plans across channels (digital, print, social) ï‚· Assist in organizing and distributing media assets ï‚· Write and edit marketing content for social media, newsletters, blogs, and promotional materials ï‚· Assist with the preparation and formatting of marketing materials ï‚· Assist in planning and executing event logistics and post-event follow-up. ï‚· Liaise with partners and agencies for collateral requests, updates, and follow-ups ï‚· Maintain an organised digital filing system for assets, media, and communications ï‚· Provide administrative support to the Head of Sales, Head of Marketing and the broader sales and
marketing team to ensure the smooth functioning of the department
Ideal Candidate Profile: ï‚· Minimum 2 years’ experience in a media or marketing coordination role (preferably in marketing,
tourism, or content creation) ï‚· Exceptionally organised with strong attention to detail ï‚· Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills ï‚· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with cloud-based tools (e.g. Google Drive, Dropbox,
Shared Drive, and a task manager such as Trello or Monday.com; Adobe InDesign and Acrobat a
bonus) ï‚· Able to multitask and manage competing priorities with a calm and solutions-focused attitude ï‚· Proactive, resourceful, and a team player ï‚· Familiarity with photo editing software’s (e.g. Lightroom, Photoshop) is advantageous ï‚· Experience in the luxury travel or hospitality sector is highly beneficial ï‚· Fly fishing knowledge and experience is beneficial ï‚· Must be based in or able to commute to Umhlanga, Durban
