JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client in the Eastern Cape is looking for an experienced Mechanical Workshop Manager to lead their workshop team.

Responsibilities:

Manage Workshop staff and supervise all workshop activities.
Train workshop staff.
Perform trouble shooting and diagnostics procedure.
Carry out weekly inspections.
Manage preventative maintenance program.
Responding to mechanical breakdowns and other unforeseen issues.
Responsible for replenishing and forecasting of essential parts and tires.
Adhere to Health & Safety regulations.
Conduct final checks.

Requirements:

Qualification – Qualified Diesel Mechanic.
At least 5 years’ relevant work experience: Mechanical fault-finding, repair, and maintenance.
Experience in managing a workshop team.
Valid driver’s license.
